I have a single site. Is it still worth buying the StudioPress Pro Plus Pack?
In the Genesis and WordPress Apprentice course I do advise everyone to get the Genesis Pro Plus Pack if they can.
Having access to all StudioPress child themes and all they ever make in the future (including the Genesis Framework itself) for one fixed price now, makes financial sense if you are going to create more than 2 or 3 sites. (Please note the one-time pricing will soon no longer be available.)
I have noticed that many beginners struggle over theme choice, agonising for weeks sometimes over which theme is best for this or that niche.
If you have concluded that Genesis is the right theme framework for you, then the Pro Plus Pack is the next logical step.
If you’re on our super-charged WordPress course you’re going to have the skills to really use the themes you buy too.
I have created a child theme chooser that helps you understand the difference between all the StudioPress child themes. On the chooser I have only included the latest themes in the Pro Plus Pack – i.e – all the HTML5 compatible child themes.
At the time of writing this post, this is a total of 28 child themes plus the Genesis theme framework. If you were to buy all of those themes at the discounted rate offered to all StudioPress customers, you would have to pay just over $1000. But the Pro Plus pack is available for $399.
Having the Pro Plus Pack at your fingertips eliminates indecision.
Suddenly you won’t care about making the wrong decisions because you’d have them all. If your theme turns out to be the wrong one for the job you simply go and pick a new one. No stress.
Also you have the excitement every 6 – 10 weeks of a brand new theme, encapsulating the latest thinking in design that StudioPress will add to the pack.
